Vogt Engineering Supports Mosaics of Mercy
Helping families navigate mental health and addiction recovery

There is great need in our community for mental health and addiction resources. Finding the help when you need it can be a tremendous challenge. Mosaics of Mercy recognized this need and set out to bridge the gap separating those in need from the help available to them.
Through the nature of his job, Montgomery County’s Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace, and co-creator of the Behavioral Health and Suicide Prevention Task Force, Judge Wayne Mack sees the negative effects of mental health struggles and addiction in our community. He says,
“1 in 4 people are going to have a mental health event sometime in their lifetime. Not having resources, not knowing
where to go, and not having the ability to put your hand out and someone to grab your hand and guide you through
that process is overwhelming. Mosaics of Mercy will put their hand out for families that need hope, healing, and help.”
Mosaics of Mercy has created a website that hosts a wealth of information accessible within a centralized database at no cost. Members of the community as well as mental health professionals, medical professionals, schools, and churches can access this vital information with ease. In the database, one can find resources for mental health, addiction, eating disorders, crisis assistance, and more.
Bridging the gap
Stephanie Skipworth, Operations and Development Manager for Mosaics of Mercy, says
“Mosaics of Mercy bridges the gap between providers in our area and those who are struggling with mental health
and/or substance abuse. We have family navigators who take calls and help the community walk through the process
of finding and connecting with available and appropriate resources for all levels of care. We also recently launched a
public facing searchable resource database hosted on our website as an additional resource for Montgomery County!
As the issues with substance abuse and mental health grow in our community, so have we in an effort to ensure people
are able to connect with the help they need when they need it.”
Mosaics of Mercy, alongside Junior League of The Woodlands, will be hosting Addressing Her, a women's mental health conference, on Friday, March 31st at StoneBridge Church. This free event will have a morning full of speakers, resources, and encouragement for the women of our community. Vogt Engineering is supporting the event by sponsoring a coffee station for attendees. You can attend with us by registering here: https://addressing-her.raisely.com
